Blackberry Torch 9800 Repairs

Dubbed by Research in Motion as "the best Blackberry ever" the Blackberry Torch 9800 was the pinnacle of the company's technical proficiency. It combined the best of both worlds - an intuitive touchscreen powered by the proprietary Surepress technology that adapted to the user's most frequently entered words and the more conventional, more tactile physical QWERTY that has become the Blackberry's hallmark.

While it was one of the first few units to ship out with the thoroughly reinvented Blackberry OS 7, a number of industry experts immediately saw the mismatch between the Torch's computing powers and the software's needs. On the outside, the Torch failed to wow the onlookers. Its 480x360 pixel resolution was nearly half that of Apple's iPhone and looked like the runt of the brood next to big names like HTC, Samsung and Motorola.

Still, the Torch was well-loved among Blackberry's loyal following - selling an amazing 150,000 units on its first week of release alone. This broke previous company records for the largest sales in the final quarter of 2010.
