It brought back one of Blackberry's seemingly lost charms - the capacity of the interface to simply melt away to the background and put productivity to the forefront.

The candy bar form factor and the revamped BB OS 5.0 redeemed the good name of the company. Although the core typing functions have since been discontinued, this unit still enjoys widespread popularity especially in the pre-owned market and remains to be one of the most iconic smartphones of the decade.
