Blackberry Curve 8300 Repairs

The Curve 8300 as well as its subsequent releases captured the magic and the essence of what it was to own and run a Blackberry. Although targeted primarily as the entry-level model of Research in Motion, it all but carved tombstones for the Palm Treo.

It offered nothing fancy in the features department. There were no frills, no Wi-Fi and no native 3G support up until a few releases later. Still, it sold by the hundreds of thousands in the short weeks that followed its announcement not in small part due to its ease of use both for power business users or those still feeling their way around instant messaging.

The Curve also featured an email attachment reader that let users access anything between Excel Spreadsheets and PowerPoint Presentations and GIFs. It was the honest-to-goodness unplugged side of Research in Motion, more of a phone and less of magician's hat; thus making it the one of the most iconic phones of the 2000s.
