Blackberry Bold 9790 Repairs

The Bold 9790 stands in no-man's land. On paper, Research in Motion has maintained it's the sexier version of the company's flagship - featuring tapered edges and a chrome and black matte finish. It's been targeted for the younger, non-professional generation that has followed the rise of the Blackberry Messenger both as an exclusivist social network and one of the simplest ways to communicate wirelessly.

And there lies the dilemma. It has been shunned by The City as too perky and too lively and it's been given a cold shoulder by its intended users. The same functionality is there - the pluckier track pad and the convenience key are there but the icons and the interface appear slightly sluggish and hastily put together.

Although it has been announced nearly a year ago, the Bold 9790 is on track to becoming one of the few blots in the rather spotless family history of the Blackberry. Like a lone voice in the desert, its sole purpose seems to be to hold the ground and pave the way for the coming of the BBX early next year.
